Because of my role, I am privileged to have the opportunity to regularly recognize outstanding NIRI members and IR professionals. NIRI is fortunate to have so many volunteers willing to devote their time and talent to ensuring the organization’s success. Some of these recognitions include NIRI Chapter awards including Volunteers of the Year, Rising Leaders Under 40, the DeWitt C. Morrill IR Update Editorial Excellence Awards, and others.
NIRI’s most prestigious honor is perhaps being named “NIRI Fellow.” The NIRI Fellows Program recognizes distinguished NIRI members who epitomize the leadership, integrity, involvement, IR knowledge and contributions of professionals engaged in, advancing, or supporting the investor relations profession.
It’s now time to submit nominations for the 2024 class of NIRI Fellows. Eligibility information is available here, and nomination forms are available here. Please submit nominations by January 17, 2024.
Last week we hosted the NIRI 2023 Senior Roundtable (SRT) Annual Meeting at the beautiful Terranea Resort on the southern California coast. At the event, I had the pleasure of recognizing the volunteer members of the SRT Steering Committee who develop SRT programming each year. If you’re not familiar with the SRT, it is a group of experienced IR professionals (including many NIRI Fellows), that value the opportunity to meet and connect in exclusive, relatively small groups to learn and discuss relevant issues.
